I am extremely petite, meaning I have been shopping in the girls section all my life which... is kind of embarrassing, but I've always had a knack for all of those fancy skirts and shirts that you see in the stores mentioned above; so, I thought "why not give it a shot?"
When I walked into Kohls, I went straight for the junior's section, looking for all types of cute clothing. Don't get me wrong, there were tons of adorable dresses and skirts, but I had to think in terms of the upcoming cool weather and the strict dress code. It may seem impossible to bypass that, as many cute dresses and shirts reveal your bra strap or don't go pass your knee, but what I found matched both criteria-- and I surprisingly didn't look like a nun! So... I present to you: my back to school outfit!
yay for my cat who made his way into the shot! |
These are just phone pictures... more high quality pictures to come! |
close-up of the shirt! |
This is a cute blouse from a designer called "about a girl, los angeles" It has a cute pattern as well as nice coordinating colors!
It also has adjustable sleeves for the chillier weather, making it wearable all year round!
These are the skinny jeans made by a clothing brand called SO. The color is called "rusted pink" but I referred to them as a sort of rosey-pink when I saw them. Not to mention it matches the pink in the shirt!
Overall, these jeans are comfortable... if you get the right size!
So, there's the outfit I'm wearing tomorrow! I've been thinking about making a daily "what-are-you-wearing" as soon as I can buy a few more outfits. The price of this and an additional outfit added up to about $95.00, which isn't that bad! I saved a good $60.00 from sales!
Hope you enjoyed this article, but more importantly, thank you for taking the time to read it!
